- For Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit. A 50-year-old nursing professional with an M.Sc. Nursing degree can apply for the Assistant Professor eligibility.
- For Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): The upper age limit is 30 years as on the first day of the exam month. Age relaxation is available for reserved categories as per government norms:
- OBC-NCL: 3 years relaxation (up to 33 years)
- SC/ST/PwD/Transgender: 5 years relaxation (up to 35 years)
