What Is the Defizitbescheid?
The Defizitbescheid (deficit notice) is the official document issued when the Anerkennungsbehoerde determines that your nursing qualification is only partially equivalent to the German standard. It must specify:
- The exact modules, skills, or knowledge areas where your training is considered deficient (Defizite)
- The two pathways available to you: Kenntnisprüfung or Anpassungslehrgang
- The timeframe within which you must demonstrate the required competencies
