How to book the SAA-C03 exam

You book directly through your AWS Certification account, where you choose the exam, pick a date, and select either a nearby Pearson VUE test centre or the OnVUE online-proctored option. Both delivery paths use the same booking flow; the difference is a system and environment check you complete beforehand if you choose the online-proctored path.

Test centre versus online proctoring

At a Pearson VUE test centre, you check in with ID and are monitored in person for the full 130 minutes. With OnVUE, a remote proctor monitors you through your webcam and screen share from your own space, provided your setup passes the pre-exam system and room checks. Both options deliver the identical exam pattern described on the exam format page; choosing one over the other does not change price, timing, or question count.

Retakes and full fee

If you fail, AWS requires a wait before you may retake, and you pay the full US$150 exam fee again for each attempt; AWS does not publish any reduced retake price. If you pass, AWS also enforces a wait before you can sit the same exam code again, which mainly matters if you need to requalify for a reason other than normal renewal. Taking it from India
