You can take the AZ-900 exam in Berlin at a Pearson VUE (also Certiport for students/educators) test centre or online from home through Pearson VUE. The exam is delivered in the same way worldwide, so candidates in Berlin sit the same Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) paper as everyone else. Book through Microsoft's official page and choose a slot in Central European Time (CET/CEST).
Taking the AZ-900 exam in Berlin
The Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) is the same exam wherever you sit it. Microsoft publishes one blueprint, one time limit and one scoring model, so there is no Berlin-specific version to prepare for. What changes from city to city is only how you book and where you sit.
Test centre or online from Berlin?
- Test centre: Microsoft delivers this exam through Pearson VUE (also Certiport for students/educators). Search Pearson VUE (also Certiport for students/educators)'s test-centre finder for Berlin when you book; centre availability changes, so we do not list addresses here.
- Online: you can also sit it online from home or the office through Pearson VUE, which avoids travel within the city. You need a quiet private room, a webcam and a stable connection.
Booking from Berlin: time zone and currency
Berlin is in Germany and runs on Central European Time (CET/CEST). Exam slots on the booking page are shown in your local time, so pick a start time when you are normally alert. Microsoft shows the exam price for your country at checkout rather than publishing one worldwide figure, so candidates in Berlin see the amount in their own region before paying. The cost and booking page covers retakes.
What the AZ-900 exam covers
The paper is weighted by domain the same way in Berlin as everywhere else:
| Domain | Weight |
|---|---|
| Describe cloud concepts | 28.0% |
| Describe Azure architecture and services | 38.0% |
| Describe Azure management and governance | 34.0% |
The exam objectives page lists every objective under each domain.
Before you book from Berlin
- Make sure the name on your Microsoft account matches your government ID exactly; a mismatch can stop you being admitted on the day.
- Decide between a test centre and online delivery before you pick a date, because the booking flow and the rules on the day differ.
- If you sit online, run the system check on the computer and network you will actually use, well before exam day.
- Book a slot in Central European Time (CET/CEST) that suits you, and leave time for check-in before the start.
Preparing for the AZ-900 in Berlin
Courses and classroom training in Berlin are one route; self-study works just as well if you follow the published objectives. Most candidates combine three things:
- The official objectives, domain by domain (exam objectives).
- A plan that gives the heaviest domains the most time (study plan).
- Timed mocks under real conditions (practice test), then targeted revision.
The exam-day guide covers ID checks and the rules for sitting online.
