Taking the AZ-900 exam in Coimbatore
The Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) is the same exam wherever you sit it. Microsoft publishes one blueprint, one time limit and one scoring model, so there is no Coimbatore-specific version to prepare for. What changes from city to city is only how you book and where you sit.
Test centre or online from Coimbatore?
- Test centre: Microsoft delivers this exam through Pearson VUE (also Certiport for students/educators). Search Pearson VUE (also Certiport for students/educators)'s test-centre finder for Coimbatore when you book; centre availability changes, so we do not list addresses here.
- Online: you can also sit it online from home or the office through Pearson VUE, which avoids travel within the city. You need a quiet private room, a webcam and a stable connection.
Booking from Coimbatore: time zone and currency
Coimbatore is in India and runs on India Standard Time (UTC+5:30). Exam slots on the booking page are shown in your local time, so pick a start time when you are normally alert. Before you book from Coimbatore
- Make sure the name on your Microsoft account matches your government ID exactly; a mismatch can stop you being admitted on the day.
- Decide between a test centre and online delivery before you pick a date, because the booking flow and the rules on the day differ.
- If you sit online, run the system check on the computer and network you will actually use, well before exam day.
- Book a slot in India Standard Time (UTC+5:30) that suits you, and leave time for check-in before the start.
