Quick answer

Our clf-c02 practice test is a timed mock covering all four exam domains, built to mirror the real 90-minute session length. After you finish, you get a domain-by-domain report that shows exactly where you lost points, so you can go back to the specific objective statements that need another pass rather than restudying the whole syllabus.

A clf-c02 practice test is only useful if it tells you something a textbook cannot: where you personally stand against each domain right now. This page explains what our mock test contains, how its report works, and how to fit it into a wider study plan.

What our mock contains

Our mock is built with 50 questions across a 90-minute session and all four domains, matching the structure described on the exam format page. Every question maps back to one of the objective statements listed on the exam objectives page, so a wrong answer always points you toward a specific topic to review rather than a vague "study more" message.

How the domain report works

After you submit the mock, the report breaks your results down by domain rather than showing a single score:

DomainWhat the report shows
Cloud Technology and ServicesQuestions correct out of those asked in this domain
Security and ComplianceQuestions correct out of those asked in this domain
Cloud ConceptsQuestions correct out of those asked in this domain
Billing, Pricing, and SupportQuestions correct out of those asked in this domain

Because the real exam uses a compensatory scoring model — a single overall score rather than a per-domain pass mark — the domain report is a study tool, not a prediction of your real result. Use it to see relative weak spots, not as a guarantee of what AWS would score you.

Using mocks across a study plan

A single mock at the end of your prep tells you if you are ready. Taking a mock earlier, and again partway through, tells you where to focus in between. The study plan page lays out four, eight and twelve week tracks that each build in a checkpoint mock after the two heaviest domains, plus a final full mock before you book.

After the mock

If your domain report shows a consistent gap, return to that domain's objective statements on exam objectives rather than repeating every domain equally. If your scores look solid across all four domains, work through sample questions to see how AWS phrases both question formats, then review exam day so the format of the real session is not a surprise, and book through cost & booking when you are ready.

What our mock does not claim to be

Our mock is our own question set, written to match the domains, weights and question types AWS publishes — it is not a copy of AWS's scored question bank, and no practice test can guarantee how AWS itself will score you. Treat it as a rehearsal for pacing and a diagnostic for weak domains, not as a substitute for reading the actual objective statements yourself.

Why a timed mock matters more than untimed review

Reading through objective statements and answering untimed practice questions both build knowledge, but they do not test whether you can apply that knowledge inside a 90-minute window with 65 questions in front of you, as described on the exam format page. A timed mock adds the pacing pressure back in, which is often where candidates who know the material well on paper still lose points — not from lacking knowledge, but from running out of time on a handful of questions and rushing the rest.

Reviewing wrong answers, not just scores

The most useful part of a clf-c02 practice test is not the final score itself but the review step afterward. For every question you got wrong, read the explanation, identify which objective statement it maps to on the exam objectives page, and note it down. Over two or three mocks, a pattern usually appears — the same one or two objective statements keep showing up — and that pattern is a far more efficient study guide than reviewing the entire syllabus again from the top.

Questions people ask

How many questions are in the clf-c02 practice test?

Our mock runs 50 questions across a 90-minute session, covering all four exam domains. It uses our own question set built to match the domains and weights AWS publishes, not AWS's own scored questions.

Does the practice test tell me if I would pass the real clf-c02 exam?

Not with certainty. The domain report shows where you are strong or weak relative to our question set, which is useful for study planning, but it cannot guarantee how AWS's own scoring would treat your performance.

How is the domain report different from a single score?

Instead of one pass or fail number, the report breaks results out by each of the four domains, so you can see exactly where points were lost and return to the relevant objective statements instead of restudying everything.

When should I take my first mock test?

Early in your prep, ideally after covering the two heaviest domains at least once. An early mock tells you where to focus for the rest of your study plan rather than only confirming readiness at the end.
