DOP-C02 Exam Cost and How to Book It

Before you schedule AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, it helps to know exactly what you will pay and how the booking process works. This page covers the DOP-C02 exam cost, the booking flow through Pearson VUE, and what happens if you need to retake it.

How much does the DOP-C02 exam cost?

The DOP-C02 exam cost is $300 USD, as published on the official AWS certification page. AWS does not publish a separate India price or any other local-currency price for this exam on that page, so candidates outside the United States should check the exact amount and any local taxes shown at the time of booking rather than assuming a converted figure.

How do you book the DOP-C02 exam?

DOP-C02 is scheduled through Pearson VUE, which is the testing partner AWS uses for its certification exams. When you book, you choose between two delivery options: a Pearson VUE test center, where you sit the exam on-site, or online proctoring, where you take the exam from your own location under supervision. Both options use the same exam content, time limit, and scoring.

Taking DOP-C02 from India

AWS's official exam page does not publish an India-specific price for DOP-C02, so candidates in India pay the same $300 USD fee shown on the official page, subject to whatever currency conversion and local taxes Pearson VUE applies at checkout. Both the test center and online-proctored options are available as delivery methods according to the published facts, so candidates in India can choose either one depending on which is more convenient. Because no India-specific voucher or discount is published by AWS for this exam, do not expect a lower listed price when booking from India.

What if you fail and need to retake DOP-C02?

If you do not pass, AWS requires a wait of 14 calendar days before you can retake the exam. There is no limit on the number of attempts you can make, but you pay the full exam fee every time you sit it - AWS does not offer a discounted retake fee based on the published policy. If you do pass, AWS requires a wait of 2 years before you can retake the same exam code again, which mainly matters if you want to requalify under a newer version of the exam once one is released.

Vouchers

AWS's official exam page for DOP-C02 does not publish any voucher or discount program specific to this exam, so this page does not claim one exists. If AWS makes a voucher available through a partner program in the future, check the official exam page directly rather than relying on unofficial claims.

Before you book

Make sure you actually meet the intended audience for this exam before paying the fee - see the prerequisites page for who this exam suits. Once you know the exam format and have worked through the exam objectives, a full practice test is the best way to confirm you are ready before you pay $300 and schedule a seat. When exam day arrives, our exam-day guide covers check-in and online-proctoring rules drawn from the same published facts.

Exam facts on this page come from Amazon Web Services’s own pages (official exam page). Prices, versions and policies change — confirm there before you book.
